Main temple at Pateria is a very beautiful, full of art & miracles with principal deity Lord Parsvanath. This temple is more than 200 Years old. This was build, by Seth Radha Kishanjun Shah by the earnings of one day in the business of Cotton in V.S. 1839. During the panch kalyan ceremony, it is said that Ghee became short for food, than by the order of Bhattarakji, the water of nearby pond was used in place of Ghee. This pond is known as Atishaya Kund. It is said that prayers & worship on first Sunday of every month is helpful for fulfillment of various desires of pilgrims.
A miraculous pillar is also here that removes the various types of Malaria. This wonderful pillar was powered by the spells by Bhattarak Mahendrakeertiji.
The principal deity of Pateria is Lord Parsvanath (The 23rd Teerthankar). This idol is 7 feet in height in padmasana seating posture built in Black Stone with three serpent hoods.
