Shri Bal Kishan Das Jain

Shri Bal Kishan Das Jain the eldest son of Shri Shri Chand Jain joined his father’s partnership firm M/s. Shri Chand Trilok Chand in 1954 after graduation from Delhi University. The present independent firm M/s. Shri Chand Pradeep Kumar Jain was established in 1970. It deals in all varieties of cloth on wholesale basis with specialisation in cut pieces.

Shri Jain has established his business links at several cities. He was Secretary of Fents Merchantile Association for 7 years, up to 1973, and was an effective spokesman of the cause of the trade. His father Shri Shri Chand Jain, a self-made man who settled at Delhi around 1920 for cloth business, is a prominent wholesale cloth merchant.

He took active interest in religious affairs and was President of S.S. Jain Sabha, Sadar Bazar. Shri Bal Kishan Das was Treasurer of Federation of Cloth Merchants Association, Bombay during 1970-71. Many times he represented the Association at the Federation meetings.

Past Treasurer of Gandhi Smarak Sarvodaya Mandal, Model Basti and Jt. Secretary for three consecutive years of National Club, Queens Garden, Delhi Shri Jain takes active interest in Sthanakwasi Jain Samaj. He was born at Delhi on December 1, 1932. Married to Smt. Sushila Jain on March 7, 1954 he has one son and three daughters.
