Shri Bhagat Ram Jain

Shri Bhagat Ram Jain son of Shri Deep Chand Jain is a devoted and dedicated worker well known in many parts of the country. He was born at Gohana (Haryana) on August 29, 1915. Married to Smt. Padamshri in 1931 PROMINENT JAINS 119 he has one son and one daughter.

He is connected with several All India Jain and local institutions in responsible capacities. He is a pivot of All India Digam- ber Jain Parishad, is associated with it since 1945 and is its Secretary since 1948. Member of the Central Executive Committee of Bharat Jain Maha Mandal since 1955 he is Secretary of its Delhi Branch for many years.

He is founder member of All India Mahavir Jayanti Committee establised in 1953.
Shri Jain shared his special responsibilities as a Secretary of All India Jain Census in 1971 by organising this work in almost entire country.

He is Secretary of All India Digam- bar Bhagwan Mahavir 2500th Nirwan Mahot- sava Celebrations Society, Executive Committee Member of Delhi Pradesh Nirwan Committee and Pradeshik Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Citizens National Days Celebration Committee, Jain Cooperative Bank Ltd., DigamberJain Mumuksh Mandal, etc. He is an Adviser of Jain Youth Association.

The meritorious and long social services of assiduous Shri Bhagat Ram Jain are manifold and highly commendable. He also worked in Congress and was for several years Secretary of Mandal District Congress Committee.
