Shri Amravati Tirth is situated outside the village of Amaravati on the bank of the river Krishna in Andhra Pradesh. This is a very ancient tirth and it is estimated to be belongs to the times of 1000 years ago.

The peaceful atmosphere at the beautiful place on the bank of the Krishna River is most suitable for sadhana and meditation. The idol is artistic and the atmosphere is pleasing.

The sweet rippling sound of the Krishna River, fives great place to the worshipping souls. In Andhra Pradesh, this is the only ancient tirth on a river bank. On the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Magsar, a fair is held here every year.
