This atishay kshetra is very old and full of miracles. It is said that the principal idol of the temple Bhagwan Chandraprabhu warned in a dream about the devastating earthquake of May 1997. In a dream of one local resident, it was warned that the earthquake would be coming and asked him to do the preparations for the safety.

All the arrangements were made around the samavsaran temple and miraculously in the severe earthquake, no damage was done to the temple. The pinnacle of the temple for which no preparation was done, was badly damaged.

In the year 1998 an attempt was made to steal the idol of Bhagwan Chandraprabhu, but the thieves were not able to see anything and had to leave the idol there. Several times musical sounds is heard at night and there is a saffron sprinkle all over.
