In this Chapter the Acharyas have described the great dominating power of merits and demerits and the different fruits originated from virtuous and non-virtuous acts.

The eminent persons who have defeated the great kings Vidyadhars and Indras, purified this world by their great name and fame and have glorified whole of the vastness of this universe through their world wide reputation and dignity such supreme distinguished beings as great Tirthankaras, Chakravarties, Balbhadras, Laxmish (Narayan) have born in this world due to the influence of true religion.

In this world, though all people appear to be equal outwardly but some remain always sad and unhappy in their heart. This is definitely the result of Adharma or sins.
Though all people work similarly (their efforts are similar) but some of them get the excess of happiness and others the excess of misery. Therefore, in such good and bad results destiny is the only cause. It is said by the noble persons.

When the time is good, rains happen in a favouring weather and at a proper time. In the good time, the wind blows normally neither too hot nor too cold. Even all these natural activities should be considered the result of merits and demerits of jeevas. If it is wrong then all the three lokas (worlds-Urdhav loka, madhya loka and adho loka) will be equal and that is never possible.

As jeevas, not wishing to go to Narak fall down in Narak inspite of knowing its terrible sufferings due to their sins (paap). Like that, other virtuous people get the immense prosperity and favouring circumstances as the noble king, ideal wife etc. And the supreme beings, the incarnation of noble virtues, get the heavenly pleasures being the Lord of Heaven.
As religion is the cause of direct worldly pleasures, similarly, it is the cause of indirect enternal happiness, that is salvation. Religion is the base for all worldly comforts and luxuries. In this regard the efforts of our friends and relatives are secondary.

The Bhavya jeevas who really wish to gain Moksha, the ideal state of soul and the heavenly pleasures and the pleasures of Manava Gati (Human race), the persons who are willing to get the perfect happiness and treasures of Great Tirthankaras having five Kalyanaks (five holy happennings of Tirthankers’ life). Such persons should follow religion in their life. Well, the big tree which spreads shelter to the various sides is never devoid of seed. So, as the origin of a tree is not possible without seed, similarily it is foolish to imagine happiness without religion.

Man is born in a noble and respectable family due to religion. He gets a young and healthu body that leads to the good name in the world. The religious man gets the beautiful wife like Rati. He is powerful and generous to give shelter to the helpless victims and himself gets a superb place in the world. Well, religion imparts the most perfect and noble things to man, Religion is the basis of all our worldly and heavenly pleasures.
If man follows religion, he is born in the high caste similar to Siddha fati. On the other hand, the sinners are born in the low mean caste similar to Narak Gati in its sufferings.

We can distinguish the infinite persons though belonging to the same Manushya Gati on the basis of their birth, family and prosperity. Some persons are born in those great Ekshvaku and Kuruvanshai which are worshipped by all and desired by the celestial beings equal to Indra. A majority of people though born at the same time, day etc. but are dammed to the lowest caste cursed even by the mean one.

Death is painful but an inevitable truth of life. Nobody can escape from the cruel hands of death. Many jeevas die with undeveloped or developed bodies in the pregnancy period and many others in the childhood. Some go from this world for ever in young age, the best period of human life, as in this age man is full of spirit, vigour and will power to lead to the path of religion (spiritual), wealth (material) and lust (sexual) and some die in the old age. So death is similar to everybody, the king or the beggar. Nobody can conquer death in any stage. This shows that even untimely death (Aakal Maran) is the result of man’s previous sins.

There are many jeevas who are served by the rich and wise persons in pregnancy and many others in their childhood, growing like moon, are looked after by the people with great love and care. It is true that many jeevas live happily in their young age in all pleasures in the company of their family and realtives. There are many jeevas who pass their period of old age peacefully earning great fame and reputation even among their competitors.

The noble and religious persons are invited by a number of people with great honour to their homes and served by the best possible means. On the other hand, the irreligious fellows are insulted and rebuked by all the people and greeted with heart piercing words and abuses. They are exiled from the homes. So the wise persons should restrain from the sins and follow religion.Well, the suffering of the Adharmi (irreligious) persons are beyond words.

The noble persons are greeted by the Gandharvas (a type of angel) with so many blessings as “May you have immense victory and prosperity. May you be seated on the supreme reign of Indra.” In the morning the noble persons are worshipped by Bhatts (a group of singers) with sweet songs. Such persons are gifted with the supreme luxury that is a dream to sinners. In this way the noble persons get up in the morning, blesses with so many good wishes.

Contrary to this, the irreligious wicked fellows leave their bed in the morning, hearing the bitter words and abuses of the maid servant of the curel king (master) “Ah Kushti, shameless fellow ! I say you to get up. The master has awakened.’‘

The noble persons never suffer from the diseases as tumour, T.B., cough, severe pains, leporasy, acidity etc. They are blessed with a long life. They never have an untimely death.
Contrary to this, the bad fellows are incapable to do any work as their whole body shivers. They remain sick, suffer and weep all the time but Yamraj (the master of death), the arch enemy of mankind, does not come to remove his sufferings or the wicked persons do not-die as death is not the friend of them. They are bound to live and suffer.

Inthis Loka, the noble persons have the ideal beautiful wives like Rati, Sumitra, Gauri, Laxmi knowing the art to attract the people. They are extremely beautiful and expert to charm millions of the people with their behaviour.

n such a terrible war, where millions of people are killed and doomed to death, the noble and great persons win many a times and govern this Universe only through their words. This is only the influence of religion which is worshipped by the wholeworld.

In the battefield Bahubali lifted the Great Bharat Chakravarti with his two hands, Ravan raised Kailash Mountain and Lord Krishna raised the Goverdhan Parvata and Arjuna the son of Pratha crossed the great Lavan Samundra. All this should be considered the influence of religion which is Chintamani itself (A unique jewel which fulfils every desire adked for).

The religious good persons are able to move this earth full of numberless mountains and oceans quite easily as if it is cotton but the sinners do not have the stamina even to fold a small straw.

The Chakravarti (Great Emperor), served by humble thirty two thousand king, worshipped by 96 thousand beautiful wives that surpass even the heavenly nymphs in beauty and beautified with fourteen royal supreme jewels and nine treasures are like the crown of the forhead of human beings. They are much superior to human beings. This is all the result of pre-acquired good deeds or religion.

The kings beautified with moving chamars (a royal device used to enhance the grace of super ones) and whose head is covered by white coloured kshatra (royal umberalla) that is symbolic of their great deeds of purification of the earth, who are equal to Indra in their eminence, followed by `Chaturangi Sena’ (the army containing Elephants, horses, charoits and soldiers) move in their kingdom. Well, this all is the influence of religion.
