Mumukshu Mandal of Mumbai decided (when Shri Kahanji Swami visited Mumbai) to develop a memorable monument at Devlali faraway from the noise and business of Mumbai. Deolali near Nashik was chosen as the place. Deolali near Nashik was chosen as the place. Twenty Four Tirthankar’s Temple Samavsharan temple were constructed in year 1989. Panchakalyanak Mahotsav was arranged. After that few more temples, Column of Dignity, Photo Gallery and Kahanji Swami Memorial were built. A life size statue of Kahanji Swami is also placed in the Temple surroundings. Worth seeing is the Panch Paramagam Mandir- where all the wordings from Samasar, Niyamsar, Pravachansar, Panchastikay and Ashtapahud have been carved on the walls. Various spiritual work shops and programs are run here round the year, with special events celebrated with full enthusiasm along with teachings. The temple ares has a bungalow society as well as buildings built besides the temples, where a Jain Society has been established. Many families have come to reside here permanently, while excellent lodging facilities are available for out-station people. A Jain Bhojanshala (mess) runs all the year round. Right outside, diagonally opposite on the main road, a Shrimad Rajchandra memorial along with a Digambar Jain Temple is located. |
