The temple of this tirth kshetra is situated in the district of Baraut in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The temple considerred to be more than 100 years old and is dedicated to the eighth tirthankar Bhagwan Chandraprabhu idol that is 2700 years old and belongs to 4th era (Chaturtha kaal).

A 1300 year old Bhagwan Mallinath idol is also miraculous and is established here. It is said that when the mughal troops tried to destroy the temple and steal the belongings here, they went energy-less and could not move. The soil from the excavations has medicinal value and is known to cure many diseases. The temple was renovated in the year 1917.
