This is according to the inscriptions found at Bijoliya. The temple is built on top of a hill. One has to climb 110 stairs to reach the temple. The Mulnayak Idol of Bhagwaan Parshwanth was found during excavation. A cow gave her milk at this place everyday until the owner of the cows, Seth Nathmal Shah visited the place to unearth the idol. He built a temple here in the year 1216.
