DR. HUKAMCHAND BHARILL

Dr. Hukamchand Bharill, Shastri, Nyaya- tirtha, Sahityaratna, M A., Ph. D. has earned a name as a Jain scholar by dint of his thorough study of Jain tenets, research work and preaching of Jain religion. He was born at Barodaswami in Distt. Jhansi (U.P.) 38 years ago.

Having worked in educational institutions at Paroli (Rajasthan) and Ashoknagar (Madhya Pradesh) he presently manages the affairs of Pt. Todarmal Memorial Trust and is Registrar of Shri Vitrag Vijnan Vidyapith, Jaipur.

He is author of Pt. Todarmal-Vyaktitwa Aur Krititwa (Thesis of Ph.D), Vitrag Vijnan Prashikshan Nirdeshika, Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir, Tirthankar Mahavir Aur Unka Sarvoda- ya 1 irtha and several other books for relgious education to children and students.

Translation of his various books in Gujarati, Marathi and Assamese languages and a big sale of about five lakh copies of all his books in a short period of five years speak of the popularity of his literature. A spiritualist Dr. Bharill is a good orator and essayist.
