The temple at this kshetra is very old and ancient with the first tirthankar Bhagwan Rishabhdev’s miraculous six feet high padmasan statue as the main idol. This idol is said to be belonging to the fourth era (chaturth kaal).

Images of god and goddesses have been carved all around the idol. Apart from this six other idols of Jain tirthankars are also placed here. All of them are said to be miraculous and belonging to the fourth era. It is also said that at some time, several idols from this temple was taken to Ujjain for darshan and was placed there permanently.
