Kachner Ji

Kachner is a small village, at a distance of 37 km from famous city Aurangabad (Maharashtra). Chintamani Parshvanath Bhagwan’s idol is installed here in a temple. The basement structure was discovered from an underground basement about 250 years ago. This idol of Chintamani Parshwanath is very attractive, miraculous, fulfilling the desires of pilgrims and making them free from problems.
There is a story about the recovery of this beautiful idol. About 250 years ago a cow dropped her milk daily at that place of recovery. One old woman noticed it and keep watching. One day she did not allowed cow to go there, she tied the cow at home. But in the evening cow broke the rope and went to the place to drop her milk there. Then old woman told to others about this event. Event was strange for villagers. So they decided to search that place for some god. They kept on digging there till they found the gate of a basement and this miraculous idol with seven serpent hoods. After some time idol was installed in a temple constructed at the same places.
After some years, a strange event took place. The body of the idol broken from its neck automatically and fell on the ground. The villagers were horrified and upset. After great consultations the villagers decided to bring new idol of Lord Mahaveer from Jintur Kshetra and to immerse this broken idol of Lord Prasvanath in the pond there. While bringing the idol of Lord Mahaveer and at the time of installation, some strange wonders were observed. Before the broken idol was immersed in the pond, a social worker of Kshetra Shri LachhiRam Kasliwal saw a dream wherein he was asked not to immerse the idol in the pond. He was asked rather to dig a pit in a room in the temple and place the idol in it and fill the pit with Ghee & Sugar up to top of the pit and lock the room. The villagers did the same and kept praying & worshipping for seven days & night continuously. When the room was opened after seven days and the idol was taken out, the Idol was joined completely as if it had never been broken before. But the mark of break was still there and visible on it. After worships and prayers here desires are fulfilled problems & disturbances get disappeared. Because of the removal of worries of peoples here, this idol was named Chintamani Parsvanath (Chinta -Worries).
It is said and believed that:
(1) Prayers & worship of this idol removes the problems and fulfills the desires.
(2) Traveling on foot from one’s village or town to Kachner fulfills the desires.
(3) Many top leaders and officers come here to get their desires materialized.
