This place is located on the border of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu near vilage Maleyur. This place is also known as Kanakadri. According to 27 stone inscriptions that were found here, Lord Mahavir’s ‘samavasharan’ had come to this place.

Accharya shri Pujyapad Swami spent lot of time here, and attained ‘samadhi’ here. Shri Anantabal Muni, Shri Gyanchand Muni attained salvation from here. Caves where Shri Bhadrabahu Swami spent time can also be seen here.

And many more details are documented in the inscriptions which are worth visiting. The place has a small hill with 350 steps with Temples on the top. There are in all 3 temples and 24 ‘tirthankar’ tonks to worship.
