This small village located near Gwalior in the state of MP must have been a very prosperous place of trade and culture in ancient times. This could be judged by the fragments of idols and temples strewn all over the place. Most of these idols belong to the 11th and 12th century.

A 15 feet high statue of Bhagwan Shantinath has been placed and installed here. This statue is very old and is said to be full of miracles.

At a nearby hill at a height of 5000 feet, there is a temple with the principal idol of Bhagwan Munisuvrat Nath and another idol of his Yakshinee placed and installed there. This idol of Bhagwan Munisuvrat Nath is also said to be full of miracles.

A shetrapal temple is also there which is greatly worshipped by the local people for fulfilling their desires. There is an old well here the water of which is again miraculous and contains curative powers of healing any disease.
