Banda is a small tehsil in the district Sagar in the state of MP. There are many historical temples in this area. Most of these temples have been built by the famous Jain devotee Panashah in the 11th century.

The temple at Pachnari is on a small hill by the side of a river. A huge temple exists on this hill which is very old. An over four feet high idol of Bhagwan Shantinath as its main idol is present in this temple. At the back, there are two idols of Bhagwan Kunthunath and Arehnath.

This kshetra is known for its miracles and people from all corners come here to get their desires fulfilled.
