This kshetra was perhaps among the most prosperous places in the ancient times. Temples and idols belonging to the fourth era (chaturth kaal) have been found here in excavation of the area. But now only ruins of this temple exists.

A miraculous idol of Bhagwan Parsvanath which too belong to the fourth era is still could be seen in one of the temples. This idol is believed to be full of miracles and people from far off places come here to worship and get their desires fulfilled.
