Shri B.K. Vora

Shri Bhogilal Khushalchand Vora son of Shri K. T. Vora is General Manager of Punjab National Bank at its Head Office at 5 Parliament Street, New Delhi. He was born on December 18, 1921 at Sardhar, Distt. Rajkot (Gujarat). Married to Smt. Taramati B. Vora on March 1, 1945 he has one son and one daughter.

Shri Vora did his B.Sc. from Mysore University in 1941 and is C.A.,LL.B. and FIB (London). He worked in Hindustan Aeronautics, Bangalore during 1941-43, Bank of Jaipur during 1943-49, National and Grindlays Bank Ltd. during 1949-58 and joined Punjab National Bank in 1958.

Having worked there as Deputy General Manager for several years he is now holding the senior position of General Manager in this Bank which is one of the largest nationalised banks of the country. He is Director of Central Warehousing Corporation, Haryana Financial Corporation and Managing Committee Member of Foreign Exchange Deaiers Association of India and Council of All India Management Association.

He has been Guest Speaker/Visiting Member of All India Radio, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Indian Institute of Bankers, Institute of Marketing and Management, Institute of Office Management, Bankers Club, Management Associations, etc. He has contributed technical articles on economic and banking subjects. Shri Vora visited U.K, in 1949-50, U.S.A., France, Switzerland, West Germany, Ceylon, Burma, Hongkong and Malaysia in 1956-57 end Thailand etc. in 1960.
