SHRI DALSUKH D. MALVANIA
Shri Dalsukh D. Malvania born at Sayla, Distt. Surendra Nagar (Gujarat) on 22nd July, 1910 is a distinguished Jain scholar of the country. He passed Nyayatirtha examination in 1931. After having served in Banaras Hindu University, he joined L.D. Institute of Indology as its Director on 1 st December 1959.

He was President of Prakrit and Jainism Section of All India Oriental Conference held at Delhi in 1957 and its Acting President in 1965 at Gohati. Shri Malvania was Visiting Professor for Indian Philosophy at University of Toronto, Canada during 1968-69.
He has been falici- tated and honoured with a cash award of Rs. 2500/- byVirNirwan Bharati in 1974.
