Shri Vimal Kumar Jain Soraya

Enthusiastic and devoted social worker, Shri Vimal Kumar Soraya is for the last 15 years associated with a number of religious, educational and social instiutions. He has been Pratisthacharya of several Panchkal- yanaks, Mandir and Vedi Pratisthas. He is Founder-Secretary of Shri Bundelkhand Syadwad Parishad, Jt. Secretary of All India Dig.

Jain Shastri Parishad, Director of Swami Samantabhadra Saraswati Sadan, Adh- isthata of Shri Madanpur Tirathakshetra and President of Vardhman Mandal. As office bearer and member he is associated with various committees constituted for 2500th Mahavir Nirwan Celebrations. Son of Singhai Pt. Gulzari Lai Jain Soraya he was born at Mandawara, Distt. Jhansi (U. P.) on January 14, 1940.

Literary activities:

(1) Writer : Parichayam- ala, Chaturmas. Adarshwani, Tiitharaj Ayodhya, Kala Tirtha Madanpur, Vandha Vaibhava

(2) Editor : Vidwat Abhinandan Granth, Budhjan Satsai Varni Vachnamrat, etc.

(3) Journalist : Past Editor of Jain Sanskriti and presently correspondent of several Hindi newspapers.

More than hundred of his articles, stories and poems have been published in magazines. He is working on ‘A Study of Jain Tirthakshetras of Bundelkhand.
