Steps of Improvement

All religious friends ! today I shall give a leature on the stairs or improvement. Infact, being followers of Lord by nature, every living being needs progress. To obtain his habitat is congenital right of living hood. Everliving being toll to achieve his nature byallmeans but he cannot achieve progress due to erroneous of his toll.

There are legends, are not only gossips but they also have an ideal. There were two brothers—younger one was just but feeble, elder one was unjust but vigorous. Elder brother Capthreased all the wealth. There ramain only a small house for the younger brother. One day the elder brother asked, “which way is for improvement.’ is it of justice or injustice ?” Younger one replied, “It’s way of justice.

” Elder brother said, “Advancement can’t go with justice”. A dispute started between them. They went from house for judgement. It was decided that in whom favour justice would be, should take other’s prosperty. They sat on, met with an ox on the way. They asked him, “Advancement occures with justice or injustice ?” Ox replied, “It’s occus with injustice.

You can see me. I remain busy in ploughing from morning till evening but owner does’nt give me only proper food”. They went forward, met a labourer. They asked him, “Brother, tell advancement occures with justice or injustice ?” The labourer also replied, “With injustice, you can see me.

I toil hard with my owner’s work, yet I can’t get even a tasteless bread and my owner who sits on the supprots of pillows, leads life in luxuries, take all the profits himself”. Further, they met a businessman, also asked the same question. He also answered the same, “Improvement occures with injustice. If we ask 11/- for a thing of 10\- none gives while we tell 20\- then at once it is purchased for 15.

After that they met a ruler. Asking him, he also told, “Untill we attack on others, don’t adopt politics, we achieve nothing. “Then elder one said,” As the judgement is in my favour, therefore every substance that you possess, is mine.” Younger brother said nothing and gave to elder brother. His children, wife and all began to starve.

Some days later, a festival arrived. There was neither sweet dish nor clothes to wear in the house. Housewife told, “Today is hades for us, there’s neither sweets nor cloths. Children are weeping, fetch something from your brother. Going to his elder brother he urged to give someting or two handfull of cereals. Elder brother said, “Put your one eye in mortage and take some cereals”.

Thaking a sharp knife, he scooped out younger brother’s one eye with it and gave him 2-3 kg. flour, Some days later, again he had to go to his elder brother. Now taking other eye gave him 1-2 kg. flour. Both the eyes went off. Now the poor man was blind. He started begging. His wife used to leave him in the market for begging. One day, an evening, hurricane strom came. Wife could not reach at the right time, loitering he reached in a forest.

He sat under a tree. In midnight, he heard three persons, probably who were ghosts. Their master was asking to them, what they did that day. A ghost said that he expelled both the eyes of a man. Second told that he dried all the water of a village pond. Third told that he dried all the water of a village pond.

Third told that he blinded a princess. The master Shouted, “you are being happy in vain. What a titanic work you have done. The blind will be healthy with the dew under thr tree’ raising fulan rock, water will come in the pond and putting that tree’s dew in the princess’ eyes, princess’ eyes will be cured.

You should do such a work that they can’t be right.” That man heard the master’s facts. Doing well his eyes with dew under the tree, he went on. On the way, he met an old lady and said to give him water. She said, give you water fo dring we will remain thirsty. He said, `If you drink the water, water will come in the pond”.

That old lady gave him water and after drinking water he raised the rock. The pond was poured with water. People began to search him but he had gone from there. Such people don’t want any benefit. They believe to do good and cast it into the well. Proceed further, he heard about the blindness of the princess. She got a lot of treatment but was not cured.

He also reached there. Previously, thinking him to be lunatic, he was not allowed to go in. After much praying he was allowed to enter, by the king. He droped dew drops in eyes of princess. Her eye sight returned. The sovereign said, “Take my half realm and live here”. But he said, “I have to go to my house”. The sovereign saw off him, bestowing a lot of treasure. Now he had become more wealthy than elder brother.

Arriving at home, elder brother asked, `How all of that is happened”. He told all the contents. Elder brother said that greed is father of sin. Thus he went on. He lay down under the same tree. All of the three ghosts came. The master said to see that blind had become well, water had come in the pond and eyesight of the princess had also returned and further guessed that some one used to hear thier discussion.

On searching they saw a man lying under thr tree and thought him to be that man probably who will have heard them and caught him they and killed. There are mysteries in proverbs and quotations. It is proved from that proverb that who will work according to injustice, corruption, exploitation, he will perish.

अन्याय उर्पािजत धनं, दशवर्षणि तिष्ठति।
प्राप्तेतु एकादशवर्षे, समूले च विनश्यति।।

The wealth gained by injustice can remain for maximum 10 years. Later on, it will be losh with interest. Duryodhan died himself in last, all the people of his favour was also died and his name was written in black words. Similarly, Ravan died. Nepolean whose hissing was as the lion what tragedy occurred with him. He died in an Island. Musolini used to keep bombs in one hand and hand cuff in other. He challenged to put on hand cuff. He attached on abbesenia, bombarded poisnous bombs.

What was result ? He was hanged on gallows. What tragedy happened with Hitler ? His corpse was not found. Who wants progress by ulegal ways, always falls down. Who uses narcotic agents to yield stimulation, also goes to mournful circumstances. Theives, robbers become million aire in one to two minutes, but what tragedy happens with them, is not hidden. Anyone can’t progress with injustice in any field, any time.

We have vivacity inside, you may use if either in good works or in evils. If you use in good, It will be benefited on yourself and others, if in evils, you will be damaged. There was a boy. He used to beat or scold children. He was called of the name Dradh-Prahari (who beats strongly). Gentleman of the country told the king to punish him.

House holders were ordered to exit him from the house according to the king’s punishment. He reached the gang of the robbers and became a terrible robber. He used to assault with sword.He started robbery. A Brahimn had a cow. He divided her in two parts. Brahmini was also divided in two parts. An embryo and blood came out from her.

Seeing it, his heart was filled with pity. As by seeing corpses aversion rose in king Ashok. At once he left the sword. His cruel heart melted, took a vow at that time that he would never lift sword. He accepted `Muni Dixa’. Took a vow atonce, till the memory of this sin will remain, I will live in this city, will not take food.

Now Dradh-Prahari was standing being saint but none believes him. It is said—‘”’नामी चोर मारा जाए, नामी शाहुकार कमाए खाए।”’ People threw dung on him and abused but he tolerated all that and did not deviate the least. By which firmness he sinned, he also tolerated its fruit with the same firmness. ”’जे कम्मे सूरा धम्मे सूरा।”’ Who can go to the seventh hell, can get salvation because bring Vajravrashabha Naracha Sanhanan is necessary for both.

He stood up for one and a half month in orient direction without food water and movement and without rebuking. Now all of them thought that he had become a saint infact because he did not rebuke, angry and was forgiving all of them. क्षमाशस्त्र करे यस्य, दुर्जनं िंक करिष्यति।
अतृणे पीतत वह्नि, स्वयमेव उपशम्यति।।

Where there is no fuel, fire extinguishes itself. Then his sin began to thaw and he achieved Kaval Gyan (infinite knowledge). Previously, hs used his external strength in evil doing, later on, changing this energy, for self upliftment, he became God. Similarly, a thief, Anjan became God. He remembered only,”आणाम् ताणाम् सेठ वचनं परमाणं``but with his firm faith, he became Niranjan. Every living being has many powers, he should show them, should not be hopeless. Who leaves work in the midway, cannot be successful. Bharthari said,—

प्रारभ्यते न खलु विघ्न भयेन नीचै:।
प्रारभ्य विघ्नविहता विरमन्ति मध्या:।।
विघ्नै: पुन: पुनरपि प्रतिहन्यमाना:।।
प्रारभ्य चोत्तामजना न परित्यजन्ति।।

There are men of three sorts. 1. of lower class-timid, who does not start the work, who thinks that if he will not succeed then what will be. They are of lower classes, they cannot succeed. 2. Some starts, but midwhile, on facing trubles, they leave it. i.e., on his chariot, Uttamkumar goes to the battle field but at a distance hearing the voice of enemy forces, he orders to return the army and chariot.

These men are coward, are effieminate. 3. Some men are who remain courageous on coming troubles, don’t leave the work, at last such a man conquers. Tamur attacked continuously but was unsuccessful. At last, hidding in a den, he sat, what did he see there ? An ant was going upward taking rice, then fall down. It climbed and fell.

Thus, this happened many times. If comparative study is done then an ant does most work. An ant carries fifty times more load than its weight. Elephants, lions cannot carry such a multiple of load than their strength. That ant climbed and fell for 99 times. At lastat 100th turn, it climbed upward.

Then Tamur thought that ant did not leave courage being unsuccessful continuously and at last it succeeded. He got inspiration and again warred and won. Try again and again, until you succeed. If not in this birth then in next births the vigorous will conquer. Jambu kumar was married with eight girls. more beautiful than sirens. The whole night, telling stories of different sorts, they were trying to tie him in luxuries but couldnot influence him. Excessive wealth could not lean him.

It’s reason was that he had started this work in his previous birth. He took Pichikamandal for twelve years and remained Muni but couldnot forget his wife. At last he improved so much that he did penance whose result was so titanic that he became Jambukumar and became Muni in this birth and got infinite knowledge and got salvation. Fruit of work is evitable.

If not that time then anytime certainly the result of their courage is obtained. As the seed is sown, it doesnot become a tree atonce but in about six months and sometime in six years too. Where there is effort, there is work definitely, who will give its result. Efforts do not go useless, acts their work. Labourers break the stone with hammer, the stone breaks after 80 th strokes but if we see then it was breaking in each storice but Nc can see it after 80th stroke. Similarly, what courage we do, leave its some impressions.

Aacharya says that present efforts become its further luck. As you sow so you reap. Courageous never leaves efforts. Mahatma Bdha sat under the tree in Bodhgaya and took avow that unless there will be gain of knowledge even if wild animals eat and torcher me on anyone cuts me with sword. I will never move from here. He obtained knowledge with firmdetermiantion. All the restrictive facts get destroyed with the firm determination. All the crises resolve.

उद्योगिन: पुरुषिंसहमुपैति लक्ष्मी:।
दैवेन देयमिति का पुरुषा वदन्ति।।

Wealth is gained to them who are labourious. Who are vegetate and coward say what God will give, we can achieve only that. Please think who is your psyche, you are yourself.

अप्पा कत्त विकत्ता य दुक्खाणं य सहाणय।
अप्पा मित्तममित्तं य दुप्पट्ठिय सुप्पट्ठिय।।

Therefore, it is said who are tirm determinate, they can be succeed.

उद्यम साहसं धैर्य बुद्धि: शक्ति: पराक्रम:।
षऽैते यत्र: वर्तन्ते तत्र: देव: सहायकृत:।।

Labour, courage, tolerance, knowledge, vivacity, strength these six factors do the work. Work cannot be done without labour, courage and tolerance is also requisited. If one out of these six factorslaeps, the work cannot be. In the group of six, anyone can be principal and anyone supplementary.

For being a work, there are four lngradiants substance, place, period, notion. It is called four dimensional theory. It is also said in Hinduism that after Sita’s kidnap. Sugreev sent some Vidyavhara (who have many arts and science) in all the four directions in her search. Hanuman and neel reached near the southern ocean, saw a tremendous ocean.

How would they cross it ? They could jump only 10-20 miles. None told that he could reach to the Lanka in a Jamp. Everyone thinks until we search out sita, we will not go to Ram must suicide because none won’t reach Lanka, where there is a will, there is way. Where there is wish, a path can be found. There is also some light in darkness.

अनुकरणीयान् महतोमहीयान् ।

We can migrate us to atom, can be great. We have knowledge, Anand Gyan (infinite Knowledge), Anand Sukha (infinite pleasure), Anand Virya (infinite strength) internally. We are remembered by teachers that we have so much power inside. Atom has speed more than light and also of pure animal. It can travel 14 Raju (a great unit of space) in a unit time. The upnishad is a noble literature. The upnishad was given to the name the Gita. It is also written there that givingup Kamandalu, Janau, Langoti, there is immunity. This proves Jain religion. There is a book the Bhagvat Puran, Rishabhdeva is also described in it. Some more is also said in the Upnishad.

आस्ते भग आसीन् स्योध्र्व तिष्ठति तिष्ठत:।
शेते निषद्य मानस्य चरति चरतो भग:।।

If you live being unenterprise, As Vivekanand also said-“O Nector sons ! you have a great power in yourself, rise and enquire yourselves, go proceed”. You may think that your luck is sleeping. All the time is Kalikal.

कॉलि: शयानो भवति संजिहानस्तु द्वापर:।
उत्तिष्ठं स्त्रेता भवति कृतं संपद्यते चरन् ।।

Body is healthy in Bhorbhumi, they only enjoy. Don’t awake their courage, therefore, don’t go to salvation. All are sleeping. They enjoy fruit of previous deeds, are using previous pieties, therefore, who don’t got up their luck remains sleeping. Who awake, they stand up for tasks, they get their goal. There is not salvation in Bhogbhumi because there is no revolution, friction or courage.

Atom Bomb was thrown in Hiroshima, everthing demolished. One day the lion awoke. Today world shakes on the name of the Japan. It is a small nation but equalising with Russia etc. How many robots are in the Japan so much are not in all the seven continentals.

Why have the Japan progressed so much ? Because Japaneese are courageous., self confident, patriot. If anything built in factory is erroneous then they cast in the sea but not sell because if they sell, their reputation in world market will fall down. There is everything in our country but here is much curruption. Our Indian seientists, doctors come in India from aboad but they don’t get proper honour, therefore, they return.

When anyone comes forward to do tough work then God also helps him. Who help him. Who helps one step, God helps hundred steps Who will not do work, God will pull him with his leg. Never be unenterprise. Must be firm determiniating. It is written in the book of Swet Martin. All the works depend on will power.

Will power is the best power of the Universe. Yeshu said in the Bible “If a man calls mountains to come here, mountains also come there, cloud also rain but there must be wonder courage, tolerance, firm will When all the power is amalgamated to a lease then the fine, exithing in sun says burns to ashes the thing situated in front of it.

When the soldiers march, they move in the position of attention and proceed and put their leg simultaneously, then they can do tremendous works. While you walk in an order, if you put your steps simultaneously the bridge will fall down otherwise our power will divide in envy, jealousy or scatter. What you want to do, can’t happen.

As many times Antray (Hinderence in getting food while it is present) happen in my food, my food is also less but I do walk. How much task I do, tecvhing for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, do deep study. Takes less food in the ratio of need, More energy is spent in doing the tasks. Do mental mediation then how many energy is ? How many courage is ? I can move upto 20 Kms. Why ? Because the work I do at a time, forget other. Do any work with your Will power.

I study hypnotism but don’t apply on you will power is the greatest hymns. There are such people in and other countries who break locks with their eye sight melt iron, impose their wishes on other, and can write without pen. Detemination is needed to do any work.

If there is determination, there is success. We must not be discourageous. An exernal in sighted, in “Anter mahrat” (within forty minutes) may become a Shrarak, saint, Arhant and Sidh. Napolian used to say that Impossible word should be removed from the dictionary. Who is laborious and brave is vigrous. You are God, do work and be God.
