This section teaches us the Upadhyay Mudra which is a Symbol of Knowledge. Here we bow to the Upadhyay Parmeshthi.
Upadhyay means a teacher, who destroys the darkness of ignorance, one who himself is following certain principles in life, who spreads the spiritual and religious education, who dedicates himself in shaping his life and the life of others.
The role of Upadhyay is very important in our life as without Guru we cannot shape our lives.
Right knowledge and right belief is the symbol of life and Upadhyay Mudra is a symbol of Knowledge.
Aum Rheem Namo Uvajjhayanam
Place your both hands at the center of bliss.
Close your eyes softly.
Imagine bright green color around you.
While inhaling, slowly lift your hands straight up. Form a shape of beetle leaf with the thumb and index fingers of both the hands. Look up towards sky through the blank space of the leaf. Move neck at the backside.
Hold the breath for 5 seconds. Look up from the leaf shape and have a feeling that right knowledge is entering within me.
Bring the hands back while exhaling with a feeling that ignorance is going away from me.
Meditating this particular padha with the Mudra give us happiness, educates one spiritually, and helps to attain stable position in life.
The pain in neck and waist is relieved.
Eyesight increases.
Knowledge, sense of humor, consciousness and extra sensory perception is developed.
Note:- By reciting this Mantra regularly we can eradicate anger and anexity from our nature and can yield an attitude of forgiveness, sharing happiness, friendship and affection.
