”’Dharam Pravartak Vir Prabhhu, Karta Tumhe Pranam Karo Nasht Mere Sabhi, Krodh Moh Maad kaam”’
Mahavira, the Bhagwan, overcame anger, sexual desires and over powered his enemies. He was born for the welfare of human beings and he was a deep sea of various qualities. I bow to him. The Bhagwan Mahavira gradually grew up. He started murmuring.
When he was moving on knees on the earth, his ornaments were shining like the rays of the sun. He was looking like a moon. Celestials provided him the toys of elephants, horses etc. and he played with them. Gradually after completing his child- hood he became young.
He was blessed with Matti jnana, shruti, jnana and avadhii jnana. He got the art and education from the nature. He did not need any teacher or preacher. When he was eight year old he adopted twelve contemplations (Bara Bhavna).
There was no perspiration in his body. He was very shining and his blood was white like milk and there was sweet smell from his body. He was very brave. He was well wisher of all human beings and creatures and he used to speak in a sweet voice.
He was having meritorious qualities and he was very reputed. He was the teacher of universe, celestials and Inder. Once, the celestials were discussing among themselves that the young Mahavira was full of patience. He was the bravest among all.
His personality was matchless and unpredictable. One of celestial decided to examine him and he left the heaven and reached in the forest where the Bhagwan was playing with princes. Celestial converted himself into a snake.
The snake surrounded a tree where they were playing. All other princes ran away on seeing the snake but be was not afraid of the snake. He rode on the snake and started playing with him as if he was playing with his mother.
The Celestial was astonished to see his bravery and fearlessness. He worshipped the Bhagwan. He thought that he was really the bravest one (Mahavira). The Bhagwan was also enjoying the worship shown by the celestials. His bravery spread in the universe. The celestial returned back to the heaven.
He used to watch the dance of she-celestials and enjoyed their songs. Some times he used to enjoy playing. He was pleased to wear the ornaments brought from the heaven. Some times he used to enjoy bathing and preferred to play in the forest.
Sodharam Inder used to arrange songs and dances for the prince. He had good interest in poems. Religious activities were the part of his life. His forehead was shining like a moon. His eyebrows were undescribeable. His ear rings were very beautiful.
He used to speak for the welfare of the earth. His nose, teeth and neck were very attractive and his chest was beautified with garlands of jewels. He looked like a mountain of gold. His arms were like trees of heaven. His nails were as shining as the rays of the sun. His ten nails were compared to Das Dharam.
He was looked after by the celestials from top to bottom. Lord Brahama built his body very beautifully. His tolerance power could not be described. He was far away from pride and passion. He was always diseaseless. His language was sweet and attractive for the world.
His distinguished features were trees, flying whisks, parasol, throne, pair of fishes, two jars, sea land, plane, snake, pair of man and woman, mountain Sumeru, sun, moon, horses, toys, garland, musical instruments, fruits, jewels, fields full of wheat, diamonds, lamp, earth, trees of various fruits, cow, ox, gold, planets, star etc.
From his good fortune all the best qualities and achievements were endowed to him by birth. Prince Mahavira adopted “Bara Bhavana” from his child hood. The Dharma was in his breath and nerves. He was always optimist.
He enjoyed his homely life for thirty years. Once he recollected his worldly possessions of his prebirth. He felt pity for wasting his life for worldly possessions in his prebirth. He became an ascetic.
He was thinking that the life span of Adinath Bhagwan, Ajitnath Bhagwan etc. was very long but his life was very short. The life of Rishabh Nath was eighty four lakh years purav and his period was only 72 years.
He was thinking that Naminath and Parshvanath Bhagwan were very fortunate who left for forest and they became Tirthanakars. Hence he decided to make best use of his short life. He was thinking that they were fools who wasted their precious time in the worldly possessions and they went to hell. What is the use of having eyes if one falls into well.
Similarly the lives of those religious persons are of no use if they can not go to Moksha. When an ignorant person can get rid of unwholesome karmas, then why a learned person not relieve himself from the unwholesome karmas.
Hence the knowledgeable person should not involve in unwholesome karmas. Those who are involved in it they have to travel in hell for a pretty long time. Attachment is the root cause of sufferings in the worldly life.
Those who give up worldly belongings completely, they are worshipped. They decide to go to forest in the youth after giving up the lives of palaces.
Mahavira Bhagwan may bless me so that I may follow his foot prints.
