Jambu Swami Taposthali is situated on a hill which is a part of Aravali hills. It is believed that Bhagwan Jambu Swami, the last kevli of the fourth era, along with a large number of his disciples did his tapasya and meditation on this hill before his final journey to Mathura where he achieved Nirvana.
Since then his footprints (charan) were existing at this place on the hill and recently in 2001 a magnificent temple was constructed at this holy site. This temple is located at a breathtaking site in the Aravali hills and is surrounded by natural greenery.
Since the construction of temple and ensuing Panckalyanak festival, two prominent Digamber Jain munis have had their Chaturmas here. Recently in 2010, the much revered 108 Alacharya Shri Vasunandi Ji Maharaj along with his disciples had his Chaturmas at the temple. He was extremely impressed by the quiet and serenity of this place and found it ideally suited for tapasya.
After a gap of two years Elacharya Shri Vasunandi Ji Muniraj and his disciples again had their Chaturmas in 2013 in Jambuswami Taposthali.
