“Sagar Atulit Guno ke Sarvmanya Akhilesh Dharam Chakradhari Maha, Bandu Vir Jinesh”I most respectfully bow to Shri Mahavira, The Bhagwan , deep sea of supreme meritorious qualites and is owner of the whole world.
The treasurer of the Sodharam Inder showered jewels and the gems in the city six months before and nine months after (i.e. 15 months) the The Bhagwan came in conception. Inder carried the child after his birth to Mountain Sumeru for birth anointing ceremony (Janam Abhishek) and eagerly saw the child with one thousand eyes.
Mahavira gave up his kingdom in his childhood and went to the forest for austerity. Chandanbala got famous as she offered first food to Mahavira. He attained infinite knowledge (Kevaljnana) after removing his karmic obstruction.
The Bhagwan preached the path of salvation (Moksha) which has been adopted by ascetics (Shravaks & Munis). He obstructed the karmas, he is named as “Vir”. He gave the religious preaching; hence he is named as Sanmati.
He faced the calamities; hence he is named as Mahavira. He won over karmas hence he is called Ativir. He attained avdhi jnana hence he is called Vardhman. He was having supreme knowledge of religion. I bow to the Bhagwan Mahavira.
I bow, from the core of my heart, to Adi Nath Bhagwan To Parsavanath Bhagwan (twenty three tirthankaras) to adopt their achievements. I bow to all the Sidh Bhagwan who won over eight karmas. After Mahavira Bhagwan went to Moksha, Shri Gautam Swami attained Keval jnana (perfect knowledge).
He pronounced the religion, after sixty two years of Mahavira, he went to Moksha. From the core of my heart, I wish to follow his footsteps. Thereafter hundred years, there were five Shrut Kevalis, Nandi, Nandimiter, Aparajit, Govardhan and Bhader Bahu.
I bow to them. After one hundred eighty years there were eleven Acharyas, Vishakhacharia, Proshthil acharya, Kshtriya, Jai, Nag, Sidharth, Jinsen, Vijay, Budhil, Gang and Sudharmacharya who published the religious books, I Salute to them.
After his two hundred twenty two years, there were five reflectors of the religion named as Naksheter, Jaipal, Pandu, Drumsen and Kansh, I salute to them. After some time there were Munis, Bhutbali and Pushpdant who published the most renouned granth Dhavla and Jai Dhavla.
They completed these granths on 5th day of Jesth Sudi month (i.e. 20th day of Jestha). Hence that day is renowned as Shrut Panchami. All the groups worship the most revered granth “Jinvani”. Thereafter Kund Kund Acharya has written so many granths .
I Most respectfully bow to them. With the blessings of my revered Guru Rattan Vatsaliakar, Acharya 108 Sh. Vasu Nandi Ji Maharaj who is the disciple of Rashter Sant, Acharya 108 Sh. Vdhya Nand Ji Maharaj. I am trying to write down the history of Twenty Fourth Tirthankar, Mahavira Bhagwan.
Whatever knowledge I have, that is bestowed to me by my respected Guru Maharaj Ji and whatever drawbacks are there those are my own. Drawbacks may kindly be corrected as I have very limited knowledge and inform me so that same may be corrected in the next issue.
