”’“Shrimate Kevaljnana Samrajiya Pad Shaline
Namo Vritaya Bhavyodhiadharma Tirth Pravartine””’
The Bhagwan Mahavira who was endowed with Kevaljnana and who was surrounded by religious persons, I bow to the religious organiser. The celestials were showering flowers as the clouds shower the rain. Black bees were flying on the flowers which were falling from the sky.
It was looking as if they were praising the achievements of the Bhagwan. There was an Ashoka tree called as Yatharth Nama near the Bhagwan which was removing the sorrows. The flowers of Ashoka Trees were looking like jewels of different colours and they were very attractive.
The leaves of the trees MAHAVIR PURAN were also looking like Manket jewels. Three parasols were hanging above the head of the Bhagwan. They were showing as if the Bhagwan has won over three loks. Jewels were hanging in the parasols and they were shining.
The parasols fitted with the jewels were so much attractive that they could not be compared with the moon. Yakshs were flying sixty four whisks. The celestials were blowing twelve crore bands. Their sound was like thundering of the clouds.
His body was shining more than the crores of suns. The speech which was delivered by the Bhagwan was useful for the mankind. It was regarding basic principles of religion. His speech was heard by human beings, celestials and animals in different countries and in different languages.
Gandharva mendicants were sitting systematically in the first pavilion of Samosaran. Kalpvasi Indrani and she-celestials were sitting in the second portion. Ariakas were sitting in the third portion. Jyotish she-celestials were sitting in the fourth portion.
Vyantar she celestials were sitting in the fifth portion. In the sixth portion were sitting Padmavati celestials. Bhavan vasi celestials and Dharmender celestials were sitting in the seventh portion. Inder and Vyanter celestials were sitting in the eigth portion.
Jyotish celestials, sun and moon etc. were sitting in nineth portion. Kalapvasi celestials were sitting on the tenth portion. Vidiyadhars and human beings were sitting in the eleventh portion and lions, elephants, cows, tigers and other animals were sitting in the twelth portion.
All were listeing his speech and they were killing their false actions, (mithia karmas). Inder along with his celestials went around the pavilion three times and they were uttering Jai Ho ! Jai Ho ! Jai Ho land thereafter they entered the pavilion with a view to see the Bhagwan with their dedication.
The soil of the Samosaran was providing shelter to the religious living beings. They reached whole heartedly to the Bhagwan with eight substances. They praised the Samosaran built by the celestials and felt delighted.
Thereafter, they went to the palace which was arranged for the Inder. They saw the Mahavira Bhagwan from core of the heart. The Bhagwan was bestowed with countless qualities. Inder laid down on the earth with a view to pay his regards to the Bhagwan.
Other celestials and she-celestials were paying regards to the Bhagwan with great respect. When he was lying on earth, the shine of the diamonds & gems which were fitted in his crown was falling on the feet of the Bhagwan.
He was anointing the The Bhagwan with the jars filled with sacred and pure water. Then they applied the anoint on their forehead and head. Thereafter they worshipped the The Bhagwan with eight substances which includes gems and diamonds.
They placed eight substances including diamonds at five places before the foot of the Bhagwan, which were symbolizing the five Kalyankas of the Bhagwan. They lighted the lamps which were built of gems before the Bhagwan.
They placed the container of incense. The fragrance of incense was spreading in the whole area. Thereafter they worshipped the Bhagwan with fruits of heavenly trees with a view to achieve the qualities of the Bhagwan. Thereafter they showered the flowers on the Bhagwan.
Thereafter, they were praising the qualities of the Bhagwan with folded hands and with their sincere dedication. They were stating that he was the lord of universe. He was the teacher of teachers. He was having supreme knowledge amongst the knowledgeable.
He is the lord of those living beings, who come to him for shelter with a view to remove their griefs. He is guide for those who want to attain salvation. He is for the goodness of living beings. The Inder stated, The Bhagwan is greedy as he wants to procure the rule of three loksie.
Udho lok, Madhya lok and Adho lok. He is holding worldly possessions like right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct. He is killer as he wants to kill his actions. He is victorious as he has won over his five organs.
The Inder along with his celestials was considering himself the luckiest as they got the opportunity to see the Bhagwan with their right faith and dedication. He was considering that his hands are lucky as they got the opportunity to worship the Bhagwan.
On remembering your qualities our mind has become sacred. When Gautama Gandharv could not speak your qualities graciously then how we can be able to praise your achievements as we have limited knowledge. Your qualities are uncountable.
You are supreme. You are God. You are bestowed with Kevaljnana. Hence I bow to you again. You are the well wisher of the universe. I want to achieve those qualities which you are having. With your blessings we may be able to win over our actions (karmas) and we may get the liberation after Smadhi maran (auspicious death).
After worshipping the Bhagwan Inder, celestials and she-celestials sat at their reserved seats to hear the preachings of the Bhagwan. When Inder observed that the Bhagwan’s preaching was not delivered from morning till evening, then he thought deeply what could be the cause of not delivering his speech.
He came to know by his Avadhijnana that there was not a single mendicant who could understand the preaching and could play the role of Gandharv. He came to know by his Avdhijnana that there was a senior Brahaman named Gautam in the town who was MAHAVIR PURAN capable to understand his Divya Dhawani.
Inder was aware that Gautam Brahaman was a man of proud. He made a plan to go to him and respectfully ask him some basic principles of Jain religion. He disguised himself into an aged Brahaman and took a stick in his hand and reached him.
He read out some shaloks regarding Jain religion and requested him to explain those lines. He buttered him and said that he was the only learned person who could explain this lines. On learning the explanation of these shaloks, “I shall be able to earn my lively hood and several religious persons will learn a lot from you”.
The Brahaman told Inder (old brahaman) if he would reply his shloks then what would be the result. The Inder said if you explain these shaloks I shall become your disciple”. Then Inder asked “If you will not be able to explain then what would be the consequences”? Gautam Brahaman replied.
“If I would not be able to explain these shaloks then I would become the disciple of your teacher i.e Mahavira Bhagwan along with my two brothers and my 500 disciples and I will give up my religion for ever”. Both had reached to an agreement to the terms and conditions of each other in letter and spirit.
Gautama Brahman further confirmed that he would stand to his words . The Inder read out the following shlok:-
“Trikalayam draveyashatkam sakal Gati Ganna saat padarth navyav
Vishvam Panchasti Kaya Vrat Samiti Chid SaptTatvani Dharma”
The Gautama Brahaman was astonished to hear the shalok. He could not understand what are the three Kals? What are six Dravya? What are the Gattis? What are the nine Padarth? What are the three Loks in the universe? What is the Panchasti Kaya? What is the Vrat Samiti? What are the seven Tatva?.
He could not under stand the shalok. He was considering, “If I agree before him that I could not follow the meaning of these lines, and then my prestige will be down”. Then Brahaman replied that he would discuss about these lines with his teacher i.e with the Bhagwan.
Inder agreed to his proposal. Gautam Brahaman along with his two brothers and 500 disciples left for the pavilion of the Bhagwan. Gautam Gandharv considered himself that when this aged Brahaman (inder) was so much learned then his teacher must be extra ordinary learned.
He reached near pavilion, he saw a beautiful Maan Stambh. To see the Maan Stambh his pride was vanished as hair gets vanished from the head of a bald man. Thereafter he further entered in the pavilion. He saw the throne of the Bhagwan that was built by gems and diamonds.
He further saw the animals, celestials and she-celestials sitting in twelve portions, He sawMAHAVIR PURAN Mahavira Bhagwan was sitting on the throne. He went around the Bhagwan three times. He paid his regards after bowing his head before him.
He praised the Bhagwan with 108 names with his dedication. Mainly the Bhagwan is known with five names such as
(1) Mahavira.
(2) Vardhman j.
(3) Vir.
(4) Ativirand.
(5) Sanmati.
He prayed the Bhagwan to provide him those qualities which the Bhagwan had achieved. He stated that he was worshipping the idols of the Bhagwan in the built up temples (kritrim temple) and in un-built temple (temple built j up by god i.e akritrim temple).
Inder furtner prayed those persons who worship the Bhagwan from the core of the heart. They are worshipped by the universe. Where ever the Bhagwan keeps his feet, those places become places of worship.
Wherever your Janam Kalyanak was celebrated that place has become a religious place. The universe is enlightened with your knowledge. You are the lord of the whole universe. You don’t have any desire. Your qualities are countless and matchless.
We don’t have knowledge to praise your qualities. As it is impossible to count the stars in the sky, similarly your achievements are uncountable. Your first disciple Gandharv is not able to follow your qualities, how we can understand your achievements.
Your qualities are like deep sea. Inder considers himself greedy as he wants to adopt those qualities which Mahavira Bhagwan endows with”. Gautam Gandharv worshipped the Bhagwan with his dedication and he was worshipped by Inder and celestials and she-celestials. He procured the right knowledge which is like gems and jewels.
