On Seeing the anointing ceremony, Celestials were Chanting
Musical Instruments were blowing,
Festival was Celebrating All celestials surrounded the mountain to see the anointing ceremony. Dikpal celestials along with their groups were sitting in their reserved portions. The celestials constructed the pavillion in planned manner so that every body could sit over there comfortably.
The garlands which were prepared with the trees of heaven were hanging there. Black bees were moving around those garlands. Gandharv celestials were singing very sweet songs. She celestials were dancing there. Biguls of various kinds were blowing there.
Some celestials were showering flowers. The Inder arranged the Jars for anointing ceremony. Sodharam Inder took the jar filled with sandal water which was covered with garlands of jewels. Kalpvasi celestials stated Jai Ho ! Jai Ho ! All were interested to see the anointing ceremony.
The body of the Bhagwan is sacred in itself by nature. Blood is white like milk. The Bhagwan was bathed with water of heavenly sea. The celestials were standing in queue from mountain to sea to carry forward the Jars of water.
Inder converted himself in one thousand arms to pick up the Jars which were built of gold. The jar was eight yojan deep and its top was one yojan in which water was filled. The personality of Inder was undescribeable at that time.
He was looking very happy. When the pavilion was echoing with Jai, Jai, Jai ho! Time and again, there was a huge shouting on the mountain. Celestials also started pouring water on The Bhagwan with huge Jars. The water was falling on the Bhagwan’s forehead like a stream.
The flow of water was so heavy that if it falls on mountain it can break into pieces, but the Bhagwan was so brave that he was looking like jewels. The bathed water was flowing with such a speed that it was looking as if the mountain was swimming.
The celestials and she celestials were chanting songs and they were dancing and enjoying the scene of bathing of the Bhagwan. The water stream was purified by the touch of the body of the Bhagwan. The water stream which was coming after touching the body it could provide Moksha, to those who applied it on their heads.
Those who apply anoint on their forehead, they are to be provided every thing what they want. The anoint can fulfil all the desires of a person. It can solve all the problems of life. That anoint can remove all the miseries of life and it will purify our soul.
The celestials applied the anoint on their head and forehead. Thereafter she celestials cleaned the body of the Bhagwan with a clean cloth. Ornamental marks (tilak) was applied on the fore-head of the Bhagwan. Though the eyes of the Bhagwan were black by nature, Kajal was applied to his eyes to beautify them.
Ear-rings were put in the ears of the Bhagwan. Garlands of jewels were put around the neck. Rings were put in the fingers. Ornamental belt made of jewels in which small bell of jewels were hanging was tied on his waist.
Rings made of jewels were put on the foot. His body was nicely decorated with all types of ornaments, which were brought from the heaven. She celestials were highly pleased to see the Bhagwan in the lap of Inder, who was highly decorated with jewel & ornaments.
Inder himself was not satisfied to see the Bhagwan with two eyes; hence he made thousand eyes to see the beauty of the Bhagwan. All those who were standing there were highly pleased to see the Bhagwan. Sodharam Inder started worshipping the Bhagwan.
He praised the qualities of the Bhagwan. Though the Bhagwan was looking very beautiful without taking bath, but he was bathed to pacify his actions (karmas). Though he was an ornament of the whole universe, still ornaments were put on Mahavira to fulfil his own desires.
“Oh Bhagwan! You will help those who want to relieve themselves from the circle of birth and death. You will help those who are troubled by their actions (karmas). You are like a plane of religion for those who will complete the journey of their life, so that they can reach Moksha.
You are born to become Arihant and you will help those who are desirous to attain Moksha, and who will follow the right conduct. The rays of your speech will remove the superstition, wrong belief and provide them the path of salvation.
The religious persons were eagerly waiting for you. They want your company with a view to serve you. They consider that you can win over the Karmas, and you will purify your soul. We consider ourselves very lucky as we enjoyed your anointing ceremony and we got the opportunity to admire your qualities.
You are shining after bathing as jewels shine after polishing. You are the Lord of orphans and you are the well wishers of universe. You can provide devine like prosperity to them. I wish you from the core of my heart. You are the builder of the omniscient spirit of Jains.
You are a treasure of qualities. You are without perspiration. You can help others to follow the path of liberalisation of soul. You will be a teacher of the religious soul. Kindly help me so that I can follow the path of salvation.
Sodharam Inder gave two names. One is Mahavira as he could overcome his actions (karmas). Secondly, he is called Vardhman as his spiritual qualities are increasing every moment. Sodharam Inder beseated the Bhagwan in his lap and left for Kundal Pur, after riding on the elephant.
All the celestials followed him to Kundal Pur. The town was full of celestials and she- celestials. Sodharam entered into the palace of Siddhartha, and laid the Bhagwan on the throne built of jewels. Siddhartha was curiously and anxiously watching the Bhagwan.
Inder awoke the chief queen Priankarni. Thereafter she saw her child who was wearing divine ornaments. The queen was highly pleased to see Inder and Indrani. They worshipped the parents of the The Bhagwan and offered them the ornaments which were brought from the heaven.
They narrated the anointing ceremony at Mountain Sumeru in detail. They called them the parents of the world. Their reputation could not be described. Now the celestials celebrated the birth ceremony of the Bhagwan along with their parents.
The Bhagwan was carried to temple and he was worshipped there with eight substances. The charity was given to the needy persons. Several prisoners were released and charity was given to them. Horns and Shankhs were blown and the city was echoing with dancing and singing.
Inder produced a drama along with his colleagues. Maharaj Siddhartha was sitting on the throne built up of jewels and he was taking the child in his lap.The Inder was playing his Tandav dance. Celestials were showering the flowers.
Several different types of music were blowing. Kinner celestials and Kinner she-celestials were dancing and praising the qualities of the Bhagwan, while the Inder was showing his dance, he was changing his body miraculously, hence his dance was worth seeing.
Some dancers were dancing in the arms of Inder. Inder was looking like a musician. Tirthankar Bhagwan was enjoying all kinds of facilities.All religious persons are advised to follow religion in their life so that they can get the salvation.
