Shri Jain belonged to a zamindar family. His religious minded father Shri Murli Dhar was a non-Jain and studied all religions. Deeply impressed by its philosophy he embraced Jainism and became its devoted follower. He understood religion and Tatwarthsutra in an enlightened way.
Shri Tapesh Chandra passed M.A. from K. G. K. College, Moradabad in 1956. He had qualified for emergency recruitment of I. A. S. but could not be successful in the viva. He started sarrafa and banking business at his home town Kiratpur in Distt. Bijnor (U.P.) in 1958 and made constant progress in that. He was a religious minded person.
He has left behind him his wife Smt. Kaushal Kumari Jain and 3 sons and 2 daughters. His second son Sh. Abhinandan Kumar Jain is an active worker of ruling Congress and Convenor of Youth Congress, Uttar Pradesh.
