Shri Adishwar Lal Jain

RAI Saheb Adishwar Lai Jain son of late Shri Pyare Lai Jain was born at Delhi. Illustrious Shri Pyare Lai was an outstanding Advocate and a highly respectable person in government, civic and social circles. As a natural in heritance from him, Shri Adishwar Lai had interest in educational and social activities from his very young age.

He was Treasurer of Central Bank of India (Delhi circle) and its branches at Saharanpur, Meerut and Hapur, Director of Bharat Bank and Government Treasurer of Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan. He was Municipal Commissioner, Hon. Magistrate, Treasurer of Hindu College, Member of Delhi University Executive Council and Governing Body of Indraprastha Girls College.

He served Jain Society for Protection of Orphans for many years as Trustee, General Secretary and President and also continued as President of Prachin Shri Agarwal Dig. Jain Panchayat throughout his life. He was also associated with Jain Mittra Mandal, Jain Sports Club and several other institutions. He had a respectable status in social and government circles.
