CHAPTER – 19

”’Jnana Jyoti Se Moh Ko Dur Kara Jo Nath Bhavya

Kamal Viksit Karo Karke Mujhe Sanath”’

Sodharm Inder worshipped, Mahavira, the Bhagwan. He praised his achievements and qualities. He stated that he was a deep sea of countless qualities and he was worshipped by the Teen Lok. Those who worshipped the Bhagwan their false actions vanished automatically.

So many ascetics became Ahaminders in sixteenth heaven who followed his teachings. The Bhagwan Mahavira travelled various places for the welfare of human beings. He travelled several countries, mountains, forests.

Where ever he travelled deers and other forest animals were moving here and there without any fear of lions and other dreadful animals. Lion and cow use to drink water at one place. There were fruits and flowers on the trees of all the seasons.

Where ever he travelled cool breeze was blowing. Once The Bhagwan reached on Vindhyanchal mountain which was situated out side the Rajgrah town. The gardener of the forest informed the king Shranik of Rajgrah Town about the arrival of The Bhagwan on Vipulachal Mountain.

He immediately left for mountain along with his family and his city dwellers. King Shrahik three times bowed before him. He stated that he was very lucky to see the Bhagwan. Thereafter, King Shranik heard the preachings of the Bhagwan, which were useful to the house holders and sages.

Thereafter, he paid his regards to Gautama Swami. Raja Shranik requested Gautama Swami to tell him about his prebirth history. On his request Gautam Swami stated as under:- There was a village Kutumb on Vipulanchal Mountain in Jambu Island. There lived a Bhil who was religious.

Once he saw a muni and paid his regards to him. Muni blessed the Bhil. The Bhil asked him, “What is the use of religion”?. Muni said to him,“Not to eat non veg and not to drink wine is Ahimsa Dharam. Dharam provides Punya which provides salvation”.

Bhil said that he was unable to give up non veg and drinking of wine.Then Muni asked whether he had eaten meat of a crow. Bhil replied that he had never taken that meat. Muni suggested that since he had never taken the meat of crow, therefore he should take oath that he would not eat meat of crow.

Bhil agreed to the advice and took oath of not taking meat of crow. Once due to his bad luck he fell ill. Doctors suggested him that he could be cured if he would take the meat of a crow. Bhil decided that he would not break his promise given to Muni. He thought, “I will have to go to hell in several rebirths if I break my promise”.

Another Bhil who was a friend of Khadir Bhil was gioing to see him. On the way there was a forest. A Yakshini was weeping who was sitting under the tree. Bhil asked her who was she? She politely said she was Yakshini of this forest. She told him that Khadir Bhil, to whom you are going to see, he is on his death bed. He has given up eating of crow meat and he would die soon.

After his death he would take rebirth and he would be her husband. She requested him that he should not insist him to take crow meat. If he suggests him to take crow meat he would goto hell.

He promised Yakshini that she should not be worried. He would not suggest him to take meat. Then he met his friend. Just for taking test he suggested him to take crow’s meat if wanted a cure from his illness. Khadir replied that he was not expecting this from him that he would suggest him to take crow’s meat.

If he breaks up his promise he would have MAHAVIR PURAN to go to hell. He said that he would prefer to die than to give up his promise. He further requested him to give some religious teachings so that he could get better Gatti after his death. The Bhil was pleased to hear about his determination.

He told him about Yakshini. Khadir gave up taking non veg and adopted Anuvrats. Thereafter, he died and became celestial in heaven. While returning to his village Bhil again met to Yakshini in the forest. He asked her whether his friend Khadir had not become her husband after his rebirth.

She replied due to his keeping fast and the Punya he has earned, he became a Kalpvasi celestial in the heaven and there he enjoyed his life with she celestial. Khadir went to Muni Samadhi Gupt and paid his regards. He adopted Anuvrats and eleven pritmasfrom Muni Maharaj.

Khadir Bhil enjoyed his life for two sagars and thereafter, he was born as Raja Shranikfrom Upshranik King and his queen Shrimati Indrani. Raja Shranik paid his regards to Muni Maharaj time and again and further said that he always followed his Dharma but he had not taken Vrats.

Muni replied “You are involved in himsa, stealing, telling lie, parigrah, adharam and you believe in Bodh Dharam and earned false actions with the result yor will go to hell. That is why you do not want to adopt Vrats.” Muni Maharaj further said after rebirth you will MAHAVIR PURAN.

Adopt Solah Karam in your life and you will become Tirthankar named Maha Padam in the fourth Kaal. You will be the follower of the religion. On hearing about the past and his future he went to Gautam Swami and paid his regards. He asked Gautam Swami, “Will I alone go to hell or other persons from my city will also go to hell”.

Gautama Gandharva stated that there lived a sweeper named Shakrik. He recollected his previous seven births. His contention was that Paap and Punya Karma does not play any role in the birth of a man. His thinking was that happiness lies in the worldly possessions; hence he was taking non veg. With the result he wentto hell.

There was another girl who was Brahamcharini and she was named Subh. She was characterless and enjoyed her life with five organs. She went to sixth hell called as Tamprabha earth. Thereafter Raja Shranik asked about the pre-birth of his son Abhaya Kumar.

Gautama Gandharva stated as under:-

There was a brahaman named Sunder in Bharat region. He believed in false practices of the religion. He used to study false books. Once he was going along with Araha Das Jain. He saw some stones lying under Peepal Tree. He worshipped those stones and paid his regards to those stones.

Araha Das Jain laughed at his false actions. With a view to teach a lesson to the Brahaman Araha Das kicked the Peepal tree. It fell down. It was kapirose branch. He said to Brahaman, “It is my celestial”. He worshipped that branch. Brahaman could not understand the idea of Araha Dass.

Brahaman removed the branch of the tree from his hands.As soon as he touched the branch, he became ill and he was frightened. He remarked Araha Das, “It is your celestial in real sense”. Then Araha Das told the Brahaman that these trees are one organ living being (ek Inder Jiv) Due to their false action, they have become one Indri jiv.

Therefore these trees should not be worshipped. If you worship the tree, you will earn paap actions.On hearing the teaching of Araha Das Jain his false belief was over. Then both were went ahead and reached on the bank of River Ganga. He worshipped the river with dedication.

To teach a lesson to the Brahman he gave him his useless food. He refused to eat the useless food of Araha Das Jain. Araha Jain told him that in this river donkeys drink the water. How it can be pure and sacred water. One Indri will die. Hence you will earn false actions (Paap Karma).

He further taught him that fishes take bath in the river. If the fishes can become sacred after taking bath in the river, you should worship the fishes. Araha Das further taught to him that Arihant Bhagwan was real celestial. You should worship him and give up your false belief and adopt Samyak Gyan, for your own welfare. Thereafter, they proceeded to the forest.

They forgot the path. They both became sages. They faced the hunger and thirst. Both of them died and became Sodharam Inder in the heaven. That Brahman is now born as your son Abhey Kumar. Raja Shranik paid his regards to Gautam Swami and came back to his palace.

There were 11 Gandharvas in the Samosaran of Mahavira Bhagwan. They were named as 1. Inder Bhuti 2. VayuBhuti 3. AgniBhuti4. Sudharam 5. Mauriya. 6, Mond 7. Puter 8. Maitriya 9. Ankampan 10. Dhawal 11 Prabhash. There were fourteen thousand mendicants i.e . Munis in his Samosaran .

There were thirty six thousand Arayakas. One lakh Shravaks and three lakh Shravikas. There were countless celestials and she-celestials who worshipped the Bhagwan. They were at his disposal. Scorpions, lions, cows and other Trianch animals lived there.

Mahavira travelled from place to place for thirty and a half years for the welfare of human beings. Thereafter, the Bhagwan reached in the garden of Champa Puri. Then he controlled his mind, speech and body. He won over his actions and entered in fourteen stages of purification.

Thereafter, he sat there like a statue and won over his eight karmas. He entered into the fourteenth Sathan and went to Moksha early in the morning. He became Sidh Bhagwan. Then he enjoyed eternal happiness. Celestials of all the four cast along with their she-celestials reached to celebrate the Moksha Kalyanak.

They worshipped the Bhagwan and performed their dances and songs and paid their homage to the Bhagwan. Inder kept dead body of the Bhagwan in the litter which was built of diamonds and gold and worshipped the Bhagwan time and again.

Then fire came from the crown of Agni Kumar Dev and the body of the Bhagwan was burnt. The perfume of the body of the Bhagwan spread all around. Inder took the ashes of the Bhagwan and applied on his arms, eyes, hands and prayed to get Moksha.

Thereafter Gautama Gandharva also won over his four actions and he got Keval Jnana and went to Moksha. Other Gandharvas worshipped the Inder Bhuti Swami, (Gautama Gandharva). I worship Mahavira Swami time and again from the core of my heart. I bow to him.

THE EPILOGUE

Mahavira Bhagwan was a jewel. He is honoured by the religious persons. These religious personalities are dependent on him. He can provide eternal peace. Mahavira, The Bhagwan, is a great fighter for fighting over the false actions (Paap Karma). His achievements are countless.

I bow to Mahavira Prabhu from the core of my heart. My wavering mind may follow his foot prints. Oh Bhagwan! Kindly help me to become as you are. I admire The Bhagwan from my religious devotion. I worship The Bhagwan from loving faith. Mahavira Bhagwan won over his eight Karmas.

He may kindly show me the path of salvation. He may kindly protect me from vicious desires of five organs, so that I may follow the foot prints of the Bhagwan and can procure the same position as he has achieved. He has acquired the Kevaljnana; he may be benevolent to provide the same Keval Jnana to me.

He may kindly be generous to provide us eternal peace. I am not writing this book with any intention to get fame and admiration but my clear intention is that the religious persons may read this book and adopt the path of Mahavira, the Bhagwan, so that they may protect themselves from the cycle of rebirth and redeath. The character has been written by Sakai Kirti Gani.

He has embodied all the gem of the Bhagwan in thisMAHAVIR PURAN book. Though the book is without any mistake if there is any mistake in writing due to my lack of knowledge, the learned personalities are humbly requested to read and inform the mistake, so that they may be corrected accordingly.

Mahavira Bhagwan is a treasure of gems. His achievements are exceptional. He is worshipped by the Sodharam Inder and celestials. He can lead one to the path of salvation. I wish that there should be publicity and admiration of the sacred character of the Bhagwan, so that religious personalities may adopt Ahimsa in their lives and may achieve eternal peace. I time and again bow to Lord Mahavira.
